FAQ

Question:
Why do I need to register to obtain benefits and are you going to sell my name and email address?

Answer:
First and foremost, PayMyClosingCosts.com does not resell or distribute any information you give us. The reason you are asked to register is so we can contact you to coordinate your team of Network Professionals and to ensure a positive user experience.

Question:
What if our Real Estate Agent is not a member of the PayMyClosing.com Network?

Answer:
Many Agents prefer their own methods of finding new clients and are committed to other programs.  If you are not under contract with your current agent, we can refer you to one of our agents and they’ll show you the way to your new home and how to save substantially on the costs.

Question:
Will the Agents in your Network provide “Buyer Agency” services?

Answer:
We do not restrict the type of agency relationship our Network Agents establish with you.  Network Agents are independent.  There are specific standards of performance to which they must adhere as a condition of maintaining membership in the PayMyClosingCosts.com Network.

Question:
Are there limitations on the amount of savings I can receive?

Answer:
Your savings may be limited by state law, your lender or loan program, and how you structure your Purchase and Sales Agreement.  That’s why it’s important to allow the PayMyClosingCosts.com Benefits Coordinator to assist you in working with our Network Service Providers.  Members of the network are experts in optimizing the benefit available to you through the transaction terms.

Question:
Is it possible that I would really have no closing costs?

Answer:
Yes.  By working with our Network Lenders and REALTORS® your closing cost may be entirely eliminated or paid by other parties.  The Network Team Members work together to help you to write offers that take advantage of every opportunity to reduce your costs.

Question:
Can I get a cash rebate at closing?

Answer:
No.  Our program limits the benefit to reducing or eliminating the closing costs only.  All rebates, contributions and discounts are shown on the HUD1 settlement statement.  Many State Regulators prohibit the practice of issuing rebates outside of closing.
